Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the group of Argentine Instructors, we would like to invite you very warmly to the Congress and Annual General Meeting of IBITA in the month of August 2019.

We are pleased to welcome you to our country, Argentina, which will welcome you with a generous and open heart so that you can enjoy the dialogue, knowledge and learning moments that we want to share in order to grow together as professionals, as well as from our land, of which roots grow vineyards that offer us the good wine that we can taste with the typical Argentinian meat.

Because we are restless professionals who like challenges, science and adventures with patients, we want to continue searching for new tools and paths, to provide, always from our holistic approach, the best for those who need it. So in the educational day we want to offer the challenge of focusing our eyes and hands on the breath and see how it influences, sometimes, in a decisive way in movement and postural control. From the generosity, knowledge, experience and impeccable professionalism of Dr. Mary Massery from  the United States, we will undertake this journey in a fun and entertaining way.

We also want to explore other paths that lead us to expand our knowledge about cognition, aspects of it that are damaged in our patients and we have to understand, consider and address to do an integral treatment from our approach “The Bobath Concept”. We will travel through this knowledge guided by a renowned Argentine neurologist.

As Argentinian people like to share the joy of meeting with friends and colleagues, we will meet at the welcome party at the UCA, the first university founded in Argentina in 1910.

The days that remain you will be able to visit historical places, emblematic of the passionate, cheerful, fighter and melancholic Argentinian people.

The gala dinner will not only be to taste our wines and varied Argentinean food, but also to learn to dance the tango, a typical dance that characterizes us for its strength, passion and elegance.

Welcome everyone to our Argentina land!

Buenos Aires is waiting with its amazing steaks, red wine, and plenty of sites to occupy you for days on end. This city rarely sleeps and you’ll have a chance to explore many weekend ferias or markets, great dining establishments, historic sites, plazas, and museums during your visit.
Sip a glass of malbec, eat an empanada in the park, or go out and practice your tango skills… or just leave it to the professionals.
When you’re tired from all the exploring and shopping, order a café con leche and relax alongside the hip Porteños (as the people of the city are called). “The Paris of South America” with its endless cafes, nightclubs, delicious foods, and European architecture will be ready to go when you’ve recovered.
